For once some good news in regard to taking the dreaded medication. Apparently, antiretroviral therapy greatly reduces the incidence of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s beneficial effect remains after ten years of treatment, according to the results of the largest, and longest, study into the effects of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) on the incidence of this AIDS defining cancer. The results were published in the January 11th edition of the journal, AIDS.
